Great small park for camping. Clean facilities, generally paved camp sites for trailers and rvs with a few tent sites. Dogs on leash. We have been back a few times now. It is not a National Park, so do not expect wilderness
Easy to find and. Quick 10 min from the Trans Canada Hwy.
Secure entrance with gates and security/office posted at the gates. Don't need to go looking for the office. The man at the gate was awesome. He was super efficient, funny, and yet no nonsense..he found our reservation quickly and spoke both French and English. French with me and English when he realized my husband was not fluently French.
The sites are small but clean and well marked and the rules were written on the back of the map to the park. I love that undue noise is strictly prohibited after 11pm.
The bathrooms and showers were spotless.
We will definitely use this again as a overnight rest spot on the way east.
Bravo!!
Tent sites are really nice, excellent location with water views here and there. Clean facilities. This is what a municipal campground should be.
We are travelling for last 6 months! This place was wonderful in comparison with other places. We arrived quite late, but the man at the gate was very nice and welcoming and open for business. He switched to English, because our French is very poor. His name I think was Dominique.
The price was $45, but we had water, electricity and toilet hook up. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. No need for change for shower. The water was not hot, but good enough to have a shower. They also had a small laundry room. There is a playground for children and every spot has its own garbage container. They gave us a map of the campground and it was very easy to get oriented and find our place. We were told to leave at noon follow day.
Beautiful campground. Some spots overlooking the water. Very clean facilities. Super friendly staff. They were full but made space for us throw our tent down! So grateful!
The camp ground is a five minute walk to a stunning beach park.
We stopped there for a couple of nights in July 2019 while on our way to the east coast. Friendly people, friendly ambience and pet friendly. The sites are a bit cramped, but they have full RV services (electric, water and sewer) which is …
I’m not sure how to rate this campground. It was very clean, the staff were very friendly, the sites were nice and although crowded, there was sufficient trees to give the illusion of some privacy. The location is convenient and it’s …
Well, this site had some trees but it’s a rather crowded campground. The river side campsites looked not too bad but those were all full. It looks like there are a decent amount of seasonal campers there. Wifi didn’t work and the front desk …
